Messages in the main navigation (/messages)

How It Works

  • Start a conversation -- Contact any company from their shop page or listing
  • Receive messages -- Other companies can message you about your listings
  • Conversation list -- See all your active conversations
  • Message threads -- Each conversation shows the full message history

Features

  • Real-time updates -- New messages appear without refreshing
  • Notifications -- Get notified of new messages (email and in-app)
  • Inbox layout -- Conversation list on the left, message thread on the right

Who Can You Message?

You can message any company on the platform. Use messaging to: - Discuss listing details before ordering - Negotiate pricing or quantities - Ask about shipping or availability - Resolve order issues
